Day 3: Johannesburg
Days 4 - 6: Victoria Falls (Zambia)
Leave the city behind and spend the next three nights at one of my personal favorite properties - Tongabezi. Take advantage of the many activities on offer, or kick back and relax in your private cottage with sweeping views of the river. We've included a privately guided walking tour (and entrance fees) to Victoria Falls.
Activities and Services
All meals, drinks, house wine (not premium wines, champagne, sparkling wines and liqueurs), laundry service and the following activities - sunrise and sunset boat trip on the Zambezi, guided canoeing excursion depending on water levels and hippo activity, lunch on local Island with guided walk, fishing (equipment provided), visit to the Victoria Falls on the Zambian Side (Falls entrance fees are extra), game drive in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National park (Park fees are extra), walk in the gorge below the Falls, cultural visit to the museum (Museum entrance – subject to change), local village visit, mountain bike trail to local village, shopping trip on the Zambian side of the Falls.
Days 7 - 9: Duba Plains Private Reserve
Leave Zambia and fly into Botswana for three nights at Duba Plains Camp. We've arranged a stay at their newly built two-bedroom suite. Your stay here will include the services of a private host, chef, game drive vehicle, and expert guide. The camp's superb location makes it the perfect launching point for drives, walks, and boating excursions (or simply relaxing in one of the suite's two private plunge pools).
Days 10 - 12: Selinda Reserve
Round out your safari adventure with what I consider to be one of the best camps in Botswana - Zarafa. Your transfer between Duba and Zarafa will be via helicopter.
Exceptional service, stunning views, and a great guiding team make this another personal (and staff) favorite. We've arranged their suite here, too, such that the three of you will share a two-bedroom "tent" with a separate lounge area, two bathrooms, and a private plunge pool. Your stay includes a private vehicle, guided walks, and cruising on the nearby lagoon.
Day 13: End of Itinerary
Bid the bush farewell and fly back to Johannesburg for your flight home today.
